About me
Sandro Gutschi, born 1995 in Wolfsberg, discovered the electric bass at the age of 12 and began taking lessons at the Wolfsberg music school. At 14, a fascination for the double bass followed, and its deep sound has captivated him ever since.
After graduating from BORG Wolfsberg, he decided to study jazz bass with Uli Langthaler at the Carinthian State Conservatory and later complemented his education with an IGP degree in classical double bass with Andrea Gehring.
He is a highly sought-after musician in the Austrian jazz and popular music scene, impressing audiences with his dynamic playing and stylistic versatility.
